Buenas a todos y feliz año;
Parece que después de mucho pensar y valorar, si que habra renovación para el C5 y con suspensión de la buena.
Sporty models influenced by WTCC success
Citroën officials have announced new sporty models are being considered while a next-gen C5 is in the works.
The decision to analyze the prospects of introducing new sporty-oriented models is fueled by Citroën's success in the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) and these new cars could join the limited-run DS3 Racing & DS3 Cabrio Racing special editions. Talking to Autocar, Citroën's marketing boss Julien Montarnal said winning the driver's and manufacturer’s titles in the 2014 WTCC season "is showing what we can do" and they are considering more road-going sporting derivatives although their identity is unknown at this moment.
Montarnal did confirm a next generation C5 is being developed, even though the D-segment of large mainstream cars has considerably dropped in recent years. The new model promises to provide "creativity, technology and an aura of wellbeing" which all represent Citroën's new brand values. He went on to specify "it would be a failure not to have a D-segment model" but didn't say whether the car will continue with the familiar Hydractive hydropneumatic suspensión.
